Allen Lake is the water source for Cumberland. It is about a 45 minute walk from Town and has a lot of other really cool sites to see on the way. It has a lot of nice biking trails and many types of wildlife. I love going here, its so easy to get too and such a nice walk. I do not think fishing or camping is allowed but people love to swim here in the summer months.
swimming is most definitely not allowed at Allen Lake. No camping or fishing. Access is currently limited and is yearly most of August due to western toad migration.
